We all know that some cats are great
for indoor homes and others would
prefer the life of freedom in a barn,
laying in the sun, and sleeping in the
hay. They will hunt rodents, keeping
your horse feed free of mice and rats
and may be a bit friendly, yet cautious
so as not be under your feet all the time.
These cats serve a great purpose in your barn and there are many that need these
types of homes that are a purr...fect match for them. If you have the time to
acclimate a new cat to your barn, please let us know so we can provide you with a
list of cats with pictures. All of our cats are FELV-FIV negative, spayed, neutered,
micro-chipped, vaccinated, dewormed and have been given Frontline or Revolution
for flea and tick control.
These cats are mostly from Shelby County (years of offspring from females not
spayed!!! and males not neutered!!!) Please open your heart and barn to a homeless
cat and help reach the goal of "NO MORE HOMELESS PETS IN SHELBY COUNTY".
There is no adoption fee for these cats, but we ask that you make a donation so we
can continue to provide veterinary care for cats that need outdoor barn homes.
Your support will help save many more cats lives. Please, they are depending on
you.
